Looking for just a little info on cutting sheds into dog chews. What is your preferred band saw, and what blade TPI would be best. I'd like the throat to be deep enough as well as have some good height. At present i have a Ryobi band saw, but not sure its gonna make the cut for moose paddles.

Do you think your hunting partner might have a suggestion as to what saw would do the job?

I'd keep an eye out for metal shop dispersal sales. Some of those heavy duty saws could be a steal, and the motors from the 60-70-80's are rugged and rewindable.

Also what about a Porto band from Milwaukee?

I use miter saw with carbide-tipped blade, works great for frozen onbone meat. I'm pretty sure it will work for antlers, just do it slowly and stay safe. I got Lem meat saw couple month ago but have not opened it yet.

Step one - find shed
Step two - cut into dog chews
Step three - feed to your dog or sell it to idiots that will buy them

I never can seem to get past step 1🤷‍♂️

I don’t think I’d let my dog chew on them.
I mean if you’re worried about what it will do the your saw, and/or the blades then I’d be also thinking about your dogs teeth.
Have seen some things recommending NOT letting dogs chew on antlers for just this reason.

Seems like anymore nobody cares what will work. What everyone wants to know is what is best. Well best band saw for cutting them is one with a blade that starts turning when the power is turned on. Yes, that's the best one!
