Can't help with MT but the best I have ever had was from my home town of Indianapolis. Claus' German meat market and smokehouse. It is on the south side of the city and EVERYTHING he does is crazy good(usually has at least 15 types of wursts at any one time). When I go home to visit I bring at least 5 pounds back with me in carry on luggage He does regular, double smoked and cheek/jowl bacon.
