I bought my wife the Bowtech Heart Breaker last year and she loves it. She shot a PSE Chaos for three years before that. The Heart Breaker is a step up from the Chaos. My advice would be to found a good pro shop. That makes all the difference when you buy and get set up with your first bow. You don't need to top of the line most expensive bow. Stick with a mid class. Keep in mind they are all good bows. With that said you will still spend around $700. To me it's an investment. After the money is spent you can shoot in your back yard everyday and not spend any money unless you break an arrow. Unlike rifles, every time the trigger is pulled $'s are gone. Take a good look at the Heart Breaker. Good Luck with the Whitetails!!
