I posted this on another forum but I thought it would be worth posting here as well.
Anyone else have one of these BAR MK3's?
I am having a hell of a time finding something that will group out of it.
HUGE groups 3"-6" at 100 yards. with various brands of 180 and 150 grain bullets.
I have ruled out the scope and the rings, but I am going to have to send this gun back to browning if I am unable to get better groups than this out of it.
I have the scope mounts torqued down to 15/in/lb and the forfend screw torqued to 35 in/lb as per suggested by the manufacturer.
I have never owned a Browning gun that didn't group right out of the box, so this is puzzling to me.
