Backcountry Hunters and Anglers Rendezvous March 6-8th, 2015

I had planned on sneaking over to Spokompton for that weekend but managed to talk myself into a new bow.

I bought a few raffle tickets though. I'm totally gonna win that Drift Boat and then have to figure out how to use it.

Strike out in the HT Sweepstakes? There is now a Weatherby Mark V Ultralight with Leupold VX6 2-12x42 chambered in 300WBY up for grabs via raffle ticket. The background on this offering is too cool, in that the Director of Marketing for Weatherby offered it up on his own behalf after reading Steven Rinellas Facebook announcement for his Carolina Custom offering.

I was following along on Facebook and it was too cool to watch him offer it up and get connected with BHA for this additional raffle item.

To see all the raffle items available check out the link below, for these three items you do not need to be present to win.

Shoots-straight, I apologize for using your handle rather than the correct one. My apologies.

For the rest of you that plan on attending - we have received sooooo many awesome donated products that will either be in silent auction or in a raffle. Literally over 100 items ranging from Mountain Bikes with rifle scabbards to a Hilleberg Tent. So much stuff.

Hope y'all can make it. Also - 2 days to apply for MT turkey!

473 miles? Not bad. I have to wait and see what the waterfowl migration is looking like that weekend.

Just let me know what fields to be in. I'll gladly take your spot in amongst the migration :hump:

Wish I could make it. Have fun, but not too much fun. Somebody from Hunt Talk better win those raffle prizes.

If some Hunt Talkers don't win, they're a bunch tightwads who didn't buy tickets. I just loaded the Mystery Ranch Metcalf I am donating with 30 DVDs, a dozen shirts, and whatever else I could fit in that pack.

I do not see a link to purchase raffle tickets... anyone have a link that does not go to your own bank account? :)

Waaa? Check? Greg Munther, Land, JR, Caitlin - is there a paypal link or any other way to get in on these?

What if I cannot make the Rendezvous Campout this year?

If you are not able to make the Rendezvous Campout to buy tickets, you may buy raffle tickets by sending us a check and indicating which drawings you want your tickets to be entered into.

Raffle ticket prices are as follows:

$5........1 ticket

$10......3 tickets

$20......7 tickets

$50......20 tickets

$100....50 tickets

No gayety, no pin the tail on the donkey. I'm out on cocktail hour, or any other fun. Looks like there's some crooks in Helena trying to take over our public lands that needs addressing.

Have a great time guys. Just a salute during cocktail hour will suffice.

Really does sound like a good time.:(

Done. Thanks for the link. Always a fun way to support a great organization! Pricey... had to stay away from the boat though did place for both rifles. :) Just pass the rifle this way now. either rifle or both will be fine with me. :)

On a more serious note. Thank you BHA for supporting our lands staying ours.
Not sure about that option Charles, it's probably too late for it.

But, you can buy raffle tickets for the Kimber Ascent, the Adipose boat and the Weatherby Ultralight in the link below. I think tomorrow is the last day to get them so they can be included in the drawing Saturday night.

That works for me. Appreciate the link.

If I'm going to be there should I just buy raffle tickets at the door or should I get them online?

I'm really hoping I have some restraint with raffle tickets, etc. Maybe that kimber will just get to make a short road trip to join my other one.
