Back from Montana

By the way, mtmiller is my hero. When he had the tag, he had to bike into the trailhead I started out in, then hunted/packed out solo from there. I wouldn't advise hunting goats solo though as there just seemed like too many places to turn an ankle or take a nasty fall.

Craig, One of the biggest mule deer bucks I've ever seen was bedded in that scrub pine just off your left arm in the photo, about 10 years ago. Thats quite a view from right there. My pard and I saw a wolverine from that same spot in 2008.

Just went back through some posts. My pics were from 2008 when I was successful getting my goat near this location (1/2 mile). I didn't see the wolverine.:D
 
Great photos. I killed my goat not far from there about 14 years ago. Beautiful county.
