Yeti GOBOX Collection

Attention: it’s time sportsmen and women listen!

The nerd in me would love to see the results of long term vegetation and utilization monitoring on these allotments after the bison have been there a while.

[whoops, BrentD beat me to it, but will leave for the link]

I wonder if these folks http://lter.konza.ksu.edu/ have info you would be interested in. Maybe not, just thought you may be interested in another public/private/non-profit project.

Those folks have it, but "it" is embedded in literally hundreds of papers in the primary literature and take all manner of shapes and forms. For instance, Don and Glennis Kaufman have probably many dozens of papers about the small mammal communities on Konza as affected by bison and fire. There will be similar papers on plants, other animals, and all manner of ecosystem measures (the life and times of carbon or nitrogen atoms - as I like to think of them).

Just to give you an idea, if you go to scholar.google.com and punch in "Konza Prairie" you will get "about 5700 results".

I'll leave this one here. Last load packing out an APR Bison (one of their first tags last year) with an MR pack.

Like most things, I think folks should dig deeper and keep their mind open.
