Never too early to hunt a burn I guess... Nice bull. He must have stood out well in contrast to all of the charcoal.

Ya he was really easy to spot. I first picked him out at over a mile. There ended up being 4 bulls and as easy as the body is easy to see, looking at antler size against the black is a lot harder. I have hunted that spot lots of times and it was so thick the best I ever did was jumping them. The fire took care of that.
