8 point coues spotted bedded while on stalk. Switching gears to him at the moment. Coues mania today! 5 bucks and 9 doe so far.

Stalked in and hit a limb at 42 yards. I knew the limb was there but I was hoping I'd miss it. Nope. Son of a.... heck of alot of fun tho. Tristen is going towards where the big one was last seen and now I'm behind the glass. Hope we can pick him up and get on em!

Wind got me I felt the shift on the back of my neck and less than a minute later. I heard him call me a perv to his girlfriend and they went for some privacy.

The low lands crew had a rough day. Only saw 2 bucks. They were really nice but couldn't do anything with them. Saw some javalina and jack rabbits but no shots on them either. Back to the hills for them tomorrow. I'll be going back for coues and back to solo again. Saw atleast 30 coues today. 11 buck. That's more coues than I've seen in 3 years combined hunting down here. The rut is full steam down in these parts. Great day wish I would sealed the deal tho.
