Going on an archery hog hunt in TX and wondering what might be a good broad head and overall suggested arrow/head weight in grains suited for pigs?

Never done this before but taken my share of elk and javelina with a bow but not sure if my setup would work for a TX hog.

right now my current arrow setup is...
Carbon Force 300
Wac-em 100gr broad heads
total weight is 386 grains.

75lbs on my AR34 bow.

thoughts???

thanks

no changes needed. Studying pig anatomy is worth some time. Put that arrow low and tight to the shoulder.

Good luck.

Anyone have or seen an anatomy cut away view of a hog that I can get somewhat of a visual of vitals?

thanks in advance.

Quartering away is the best way in with a bow, I think. I would think if you can kill an elk with a bow, you can kill a hog. Good luck!

Hey, here's a new broadhead that is doing great. I met the guy who invented it last weekend. Its killed lots of hogs, some elk, caribou, many deer, and lots of African game too. It makes a big whole that bleeds and that's hard to do with a bow on a big hog.

One of the amazing things is that it flys like your field tips, so you don't need to test it.
