I share your concerns. The statistical probability of taking so many exceptionally wide bucks seems minuscule to me. As @DFS said genetics maybe? I have never seen a buck wider than about 24” in Montana but maybe we just don’t have the genetics. We had some Wisconsin hunters that would stop in at the family ranch and they had a 29” wide buck harvested off their farm but that was like 2 decades ago and of course no saved pics.

Oh gotcha. So the theory that the horns are being attached in the field to a recent kill? I guess that would be plausible but that just all sounds like one hell of an undertaking as well as the ability to never get found out seems unlikely. I know it’s been done a few times by others but the reason I know is they got found out. One thing I am certain of from my own experience is that telling anything from pictures is tough. That obviously goes both ways so it’s very possible you are right

I'm not saying that's what it is...but I'm they sure look strange. Quite a few of them.

Have you ever slipped while sawing off antlers and split the skull plate? Droopy sideways antlers are not that unusual ... but are usually not natural. IMO.

I'm beginning to suspect that the "try" is in intentional poor writing, punctuation, spelling, grammar, and such as a means of drawing attention to himself. Note that occasionally there is a slip-up post with clear writing. The contrast has appeared profoundly.
