Exactly. What happens on Wall Street directly impacts Main Street, and vice versa.
I heard some Congressman yesterday say he didn't care about Wall Street, he does care about Main Street.
I am confused. Is it Biden's fault that we were due for a correction because of the success on the markets the last two years or is it trumps success that we are having a correction? so confusing...

This is the basis of my hope for the future. In the administration and congress the rats will start to jump off the burning ship. At the capitals and in the voting booths those who voted based on their view of economic concerns will change their preference...
I'd prefer to have two parties with some sanity and honesty in their platforms of course, but the reds are way too far off the deep end and the only thing that seems to have a chance of restoring their sanity is a thorough defeat.
Short term I have no hope of anything getting better for many months though. Everyone I talk to over 50--even hard right friends-- are complaining about their retirement balances and worried about social security. I hope I and they don't have to wait years for the damage to be rectified but not sure there will be any quick fixes.
Hearing impacts that affect us hunters increase on a weekly basis too.
Yesterday it was federal dollars for controlling invasive pests have dried up and programs that have helped slow their spread--with treatments and plans implemented on a yearly basis to stem their impacts--are not going to be implemented. This will greatly exacerbate the problems.
I’m just killing time watching the bond market selloff while waiting for even more disappointment from the NM and MT draw results.Wonder if HT has more day traders or hunting advocates/hunters somedays

The market is jumping around today, like a fart in a frying pan. What are the chances that the orange one is sharing his announcements in advance, so that they can make some hay. Nah, he wouldn't do that, he's far too honest.
