Dude, do you understand P/E ratios? Stocks were/are still way overvalued. They were fragile to begin with. Any investor who understands stocks knew that ANY negative news/events would have caused this.

Healthy markets pull back. When PE ratios come down, the market is healthy again. It’s pretty clear you hate Trump. You’ve made your point known.

Thinking that Trump destroyed the market and that the market was healthy to begin with —it was not.

So if you’re gonna focus on what’s going on with the market, understand that anything negative would’ve triggered this.

And if you look at historicals, when markets go down, they tend to typically rally up pretty strong afterwards.

As much as you hate Trump, you have an opportunity that just smacked you in the face to buy stocks on

Hard to say that this isn’t a reaction to tariffs when the market swings 2,000 points in less than 30 minutes on a post on X that there might be a 90 day pause on the tariffs.

Markets were no doubt overvalued a bit but the trigger for this sell off is tariffs no doubt.

Hopefully it has adjusted enough but I thought that last week.

Probably more rug, major selloff Friday, announce all tariff cancellation over the weekend after MMs load the boat with calls.

With the number of maga talking heads breaking ranks on tariffs increasing a little more everyday something seems likely to give. My bet remains on congress

Heard several of them use the word stupid just yesterday.

What's interesting to me is the lack of appreciation by MAGA Kool Aid drinkers that the trouble is just starting and will be even more evident as inflation, the impacts of tariffs, and the DECREASE in economic investment in the country starts to show up.

Farmers will be the first to be badly hurt IMO. Was not a great year last year, they just lost major markets due to Trump's axing if USAID, and seed fertilizer and other cost are zooming up.

This idea so many seem to have here that this can turn around quickly flies in the face of reality.

100%. This is exactly what I was worried about in my post yesterday. Looks like the chain reaction of unloading treasury’s has started. Game over for the USA. Trump has managed to sink the country in less than 3 months in office.

The only reason we have a trade deficit with Canada is due to the heavy crude oil the US buys from them. Without crude oil, US has a trade surplus with Canada. Canada has a painful way to make a trading point with the US.

Of course the market was going to hit a rough patch sometime, for something. This one is on TRUMP. He alone has knocked the apple cart over.
