Never said the majority have 401K's, what I said was meant to imply that jumping with joy at the ability to make bank off of day trading due to recent actions is tone deaf.Thinking that the vast majority of Americans have a 401k is the definition of tone deaf view.

But since you mention it, I don't see 457's listed in the accounting in that article. That discounts a significant number of folks.
Of course I would not be surprised if you think those people shouldn't count.
