Anybody Buying Yet? Where’s the Bottom?

Bloodbath today, the question though is it a buying opportunity or is this a catalyst that will put AI spend in check for a quarter or two?

No, sorry, that was my bad! I bought some crypto yesterday so everything crashed. I’ll try to let everyone know before I do that again, I promise.

All right… For those of you smarter than me, time to answer the serious question. Is Nvidia overvalued or is it Just getting started? Is buying it tomorrow like buying Amazon in 2011?

It seems like its products potential is in its infancy.
How does that translate to stock value and future stock value?

Nivda has already done what Amazon did from 2011 on.

I think it's somewhere in-between, there's going to be a shakeout of AI spend, there will be pullback as budgets tighter, but so much money is already committed for 2025. There's still lots of room to go long term, I'm likely to add to my Nvidia and TSMC holdings.

It’s ran at lightspeed for years but 20% down from highs in 1 day is still a good DCA opportunity if not in already

In light of Semis dumping yesterday. I saw this AM that the admin is looking at tariffs for imported chips as well as removing subsidies for chip makers to build plants in the US. Aren’t those opposing moves? What would that accomplish

No real bump today for the broader tech groups. Market seems to be sorting through the wreckage. I doubt we are too soon to hear of any big changes in capex this week or next, but every one of those firms is going to be looking at whether or not they need the latest NVDA chip. I am more concerned that on hearing about implementation of AI and if it starts to be a replacement for people. The jobs market might start to weaken.

Deepseek announcement made it clear that the Wall Street selling machine oversold the "next big thing". Pretty much standard operating procedure. On to something new? Maybe Quantum computing?

AI is concept, like the Internet. Are we buying in 1997 or 1999? Are we buying the next AMZN or CSCO or AOL. 🤷‍♂️
I'll give you a couple hints. TSLA, NVDA, MSFT, GOOG, PLTR. AI is in inning 2 right now. We don't even know a fraction of the possible applications.
