What an exciting game last night! Eagles vs Henderson Silver Knights (Vegas Golden Knights affiliate). Eagles down 2-0 less than 5 minutes in. Henderson up 3-1 at end of one. CO goalie change to start 2nd, still 3-1 at end of two. Eagles get one at about 16:30, Landy gets an assist. Bigger ovation for him than the goal scorer. Then with a little under 4 minutes left Landy scores to tie it up. The place went absolutely nuts! Ends tied in regulations and no scoring in OT so goes to a shoot out. Landy was 2nd CO shooter but no goal. Eagles win in 4th round. Landy gets 1st star of the game. One more Eagles game for him and the we'll see if they put him on the Avs play-off roster.
I am sure a lot of fans do. I believe it was just a meme has a jab at Canadians. Tim Hortons is a donut shop started by a ex nhl'er only found in Canada. (Gretzky when he was on the road used to go get a hot dog from the rink vendors and eat before warm ups). The donut thing was refered in Strange Brew by the Mckenzie brothers. I apoligize and will not refer to hockey movies anymore after this post (this includes slap shot).

What a game tonight in St Paul. Man those fans got one heck of a treat tonight for the last 10 minutes. Storybook type stuff to end a season that way. Huge momentum boost for sure going into playoffs

Was a last min deal. In town for work and grabbed tickets 30 mins before puck drop..... Plus my momma told me not to meet internet strangers
Man did the place go wild when Ek stuffed in the tying goal! Then to let Fluery finish it up was special.

TBH I’m not thrilled with the Avs and Stars playing each other in the first round. I was hoping that would’ve been a conference final series

I'm right with you. For sure the eastern team I'm pulling for. I'm wishing for pain and suffering and torture and won't even rule out death for the Stars and Blues.
With you on the avs vs stars, but it is still going to be a hell of a series. Avs havn't beat em in the playoffs for a while. The whole moose and duchesne thing adds to it. Either of these teams should win the cup. I am avs fan and love Cale Makar. I wish he wore number four. He is generational player like orr. (just hasn't had to take the beating Orr had to through.
Historically, in 1st round series - we are 2-0 against DAL (8-2 on a game-by-game basis)
Results in later rounds have been a different story, of course. I will be at game 2 Monday in Dallas and Game 3 at home. Love this time of year.
