It should have gone in. Aho couldn't believe he missed itCrosby's hit followed immediately by an open net goal was insane!!! The Finns didn't give up either with that last second shot on the net!
Lack of practice time together is showing in small things like that. It also seems, regardless of the talent level of the players, it is easier to organize a defensive scheme to gum things up at the blue line than it is organize clean entry into the offensive zone. Good hockey though. US showing here and in the World Jrs shows the increase in popularity in the sport in the US. Good to see and hopefully they continue that momentum.WHy they pulled the goalie with the puck still in the neutral zone was bizarre. They had plenty of time to get it in the zone first.
US is sitting some stars tonight.I'm not sure what kind of game to expect tonight. Sweden will still give it 110% right? Will the USA?
Two and for just as good of stars though.US is sitting some stars tonight.
I'm still pissed the other hockey thread got shut down.
?The US got put flat by good defense.
Hear me out. What if the rink was setup on LOTW with the centerline being the national border? This place will be loud and angry and there’s nowhere else a hockey lover would rather be.
Don't let this derail the thread, but then the US revokes all visas from the Canadians so they can't come into our half! That's how we'll win for sure.Hear me out. What if the rink was setup on LOTW with the centerline being the national border?
