Huge day. Monster games with teams that really don't like each other. Should be fun and super physical. Lets go!

I got Finland and Canada on the money line. Wasn't very smart because in my heart I'm rooting exact opposite of that.
Emotion hedge. LOL. Finland just isn't as deep as the other three teams because of injury withdrawals. Good first 20 minutes though. Really looking forward to tonights game.I got Finland and Canada on the money line. Wasn't very smart because in my heart I'm rooting exact opposite of that.
I took FIN ML also. 2:1 dogs against their rivals is tremendous value if their D can hold up (e.g. stop giving free pucks to Zibanejad in the slot)I got Finland and Canada on the money line. Wasn't very smart because in my heart I'm rooting exact opposite of that.
I can't see them on TNT because I don't have a cable subscription and not worth signing up for Max for this event. NHL is the best pro sport at consolidating games mostly in one place, but they still do some stuff that drives me crazy. NFL is a huge mess that seems to get worse every year. I joke that some of these leagues are trying to maximize the number of fans that can't see the product.I wish all the games were on TNT. The ABC/ESPN hockey production is tough to watch.
I love that ESPN plus has all the hockey games though, it's super cheap to have access to almost every single hockey game. It’s all nit picking but I can’t stand the “on the ice” banner across the bottom where they got the players listed after the first half of the first period. I hate that they keep taking the shot count off the score bug. I’d rather cut my ears off than listen to PK Subban.
I just think TNT does a much better job. Their pre and post game shows are better. The personalities are better, in my opinion.
ESPN had no intention of actually promoting the NHL when they got the broadcast package a few years ago. They just wanted it to throw it on ESPN+ and bleed hockey viewers for a few more bucks.
Before ESPN contract there was basically nothing other than a subscription to NHL Network and they would block certain games if someone else was broadcasting it. I felt I was being bled and not even getting the games I wanted. ESPN+ seemed like a good deal to me. My problem is probably TNT contract gives TNT mostly good games - Winter Classics, playoffs, Stanley Cups etc, which is why I get annoyed. I view it's the NHL's job to promote the NHL, and they have not done a great job at that over the decades. Too bad really. It’s all nit picking but I can’t stand the “on the ice” banner across the bottom where they got the players listed after the first half of the first period. If you have friends or family willing to give you their cable provider login, you can download the TNT app, log into their provider from there and watch the games. Or go to a fun sports bar.I can't see them on TNT because I don't have a cable subscription and not worth signing up for Max for this event. Me and a good friend planned taking our kids to a USHL game tonight, so we’ll be checking the phone or getting updates at the arena. Maybe poor planning on our part, but the kids will have a blast watching live hockey and eating all the snacks they can handle. It's going to be bonkers from about 645 until 745 tonight. If you're a sports fan, make sure you don't miss this
The Gamblers games are so much fun, I'm guessing it's the same for your team.
