Any experience with bear guide KYNCY?

I want to try getting bear in California later this year and have never seriously bear hunted before.

No but they're well regarded from the people I've talked to. I plan to hunt the same areas they guide this fall. Brian Kyncy did a podcast with Mike Costello on the 'Huntin Aint Easy' podcast that would be worth a listen to. I think the fully guided options fill up fairly quick so may want to reach out, although there are a number of options that offer similar hunts.

The bear guides in CA generally do a lot of scouting to find food or water bears are using with trail cameras and you go sit and wait for a bear. Lockwood is another guide that I've heard good things about. He has access to private land and does some spot and stalk also I think.
