With a 51 page thread that started 13 years ago, I'm not sure if I have posted on it or not.
I drew my first antelope tag back in 1971 and shot a buck in Northwest Colorado. He became my first taxidermy mount, and is still on my wall along with 6 others. Hunting them now I look for the first legal buck so I won't be tempted to have him mounted.
I've since also hunted antelope in Wyoming and for the first 20-30 years that I lived in Montana I drew 1 or 2 tags almost every year.
This first pic is at our local range with me shooting Skeet low house 8 with a few antelope grazing by, not 50 yards away.
One of my eastern Montana bucks that made the freezer but not the wall.
A couple more of my eastern Montana antelope for the freezer.
My old hunting partner with an eastern Montana antelope. My favorite antelope rifle is my .257 Ackley that I built in the late '70s.
Another eastern Montana 'lope with my old partner.
My new hunting partner and me with another eastern Montana loper on a game carrier that I built.
