I covet the flying photos you've been taking. I've got a whole GB's of blurry ones. Great plover shots as well. You must have been all up in his grill.

Probably was the fella. I saw one of the youngsters, but it got to the thick stuff and I didn't want to step on something (I am guessing there were more). I am sure there were more, but stayed clear. The other broods I found were much further along.

No worries on the BIF's, most are blue blur. Get lucky once in a while.

fowl, American avocet. Sweet bird and colors are much better earlier in the year.

Give me an idea if you would of how hard they are to locate if you are in good areas for them?.....

I've seen them only on the wintering grounds and would like to see them there....

Sorry Steve, a little slow on my part. I don't have a lot of plover habitat in this area and they are all found on prairie dog towns. I know of 5 or 6 towns that commonly have mountain plovers.

Took the pup to the lake this afternoon since he thought 100 was too hot to sit in the yard. Not very good light, but snapped a couple birds.
