Ammo prices dropping

My apologies if my post is late to the party but I've noticed a definite drop in factory ammo prices. I was in one of the big box outdoor stores today and noticed lots of price drop flags in the ammo section. Picked up a box of the new Federal Fusion Tipped ammo for $10 less than one of the other big box stores currently has it listed. The Academy website shows lots of price drops.

Hope it continues but with tariffs and world state, I doubt it will.

Ammo prices have been slowly, but steadily dropping for at least the last 18 months.
I'd like to see components pricing follow suit.

This time of year every year a lot hunting related items go on sale to include ammo. At least it always has in my area.

Powder is the crux of my problems right now. IMR4064 is and has always been a really easy powder to find and it is almost nonexistent these days.

In about 4 weeks prices will go up 6.5% in Colorado, negating any perceived drop in pricing otherwise...

Nosler factory direct blems cost more than brand new from third party sellers. I've fallen for that a few times.

Not all ammo prices but I have a few items that I watch from retailers. Mainly case prices of 5.56, and 9mm. Easier to tell what they are doing as the fluctuations are slightly bigger than just your normal box of hunting loads. 9mm case prices have dropped to near 2020 levels but 5.56 remains high.
