Caribou Gear Tarp

American prairie. What's the issue?

So, to clarify.

Montana ranchers want to save the cowboy, unless a city billionaire shows up, then they cash the check.

Too much consolidation in meat production is bad, unless Walmart has a sale.

Somehow Mormons got drug into this

Hunters are conservationists, as long as they get a tag

Still can't figure out what the conspiracy is, after 200 posts

Mormons buy ranches in Montana. Put that $20 in the plate. Probably see you in Colorado next year with the whole church of LDS helping your brother.

Perfect I was about to explain the Mormons buying ranches in Montana part. I’ve hunted in the same area as Utards and they bring groups of people with radios. Not even close to fair chase. Disgusting to see.

$20 in a plate? Helping your brother?

Wth does that have to do with APR?

That was a reference to donating to the church of LDS. Nothing to do with APR but follow the money if you care to look. Most people on here would disagree with me and that’s fine, I probably have a different vision for what Montana should look like. You asked how the Mormons got drug into it?

They are buying ranches just as fast as APR so it’s relevant. Anybody had access to those ranches?

Been 30 years since I was in an LDS church. But I'm pretty sure they don't pass a plate around.

And, the LDS church, has the single biggest CWMU in Utah, 40,000 acres. And it's fully huntable. You can buy tags, or draw them.

Lots of conspiracy theories in Montana I guess

So, let me see if I have this right - govt can’t buy land, land conservation groups can’t buy land, people from out of state can’t buy land, only their three neighbors can buy the land. Gotcha.
and foreigners can buy the land.

foreigners should not be able to purchase US lands,IMHO.
How many Americans own second homes in Mexico, Canada, etc

There are 14 million green card holders in the US, and you have to live here for almost a decade to become a citizen, so those folks can’t own homes?

If you look at mineral extraction and owning mineral rights which isn’t exactly land ownership… we are all up in arms about buying foreign oil but, a huge portion of our oil is developed by foreign companies… large multinationals that hire tons of Americans, but foreign… a couple Chinese companies are huge in WY 🤷‍♂️

I get the sentiment… I just think is complicated.

I hold strong conservative values when it comes to free markets and private property rights. Also I believe willing buyers and willing sellers is none of your business.

Is eastern Montana turning blue?
Did not state, think, or imply it was my business.
