American Prairie - 88,000 acres of access

I soundly believe in everything that the UPOM stands for.
Everything, huh? Bulls for billionaires? Transferrable tags? Wildlife isn't a public resource and big landowners can do whatever they want with it? To heck with the NAM of wildlife management? Greed? Arrogance? Misinformation? Catering to a few wealthy people while the rest of Montana is locked out?

I commend you for coming on this website and taking a controversial position, but from the silence and lack of response I think others are right to point out that you are all hat and no cattle.

Interesting analogy since ranching and agriculture in general isn't very popular here. mtmuley
It was intentional, for sure.

@Rie Bread I think he is referring to HT, not MT.

I wouldn't go so far as to say ranching and ag aren't very popular on HT though. Our wildlife depend on good habitat, and many ranches and ag producers foster that good habitat as part of their business model. Most folks here understand and appreciate that, and also understand that there are many great ranchers that care for these resources as much as the rest of us do. It's the few bad apples that horde land, lock folks out and apply their backwards "kings deer" mentality to our wildlife (by and large represented by UPOM) that we're critical about.

Until someone bitches about subsidies. Your kinda new here. mtmuley

I live in the Root. No I don't watch it. Just watch the way it has impacted us. What is your point? mtmuley
All hat no cattle reference. Common type of folk around Gallatin, as in “ I saw Yellowstone and bought a pair of boots and a hat” types. Makes me chuckle when I see it and elky saying so made me laugh

I'm a life long Montanan. Heard that when I was a kid. I get it. mtmuley
Cousins ranch in malad city ID. Ripped me a new one the first time I came out to work with “cowboy” boots. Told me to get work boots haha. Never forgot that, good thing I didn’t have a hat too
