Well I passed up a trip to the high country last week due to year-end inventory at work. I won't be out to play until October. I get a call Sunday saying a Ram hit the rocks. This guy in the middle has been after a Ram for fifteen years plus. They found two Rams in a full curl zone which is a feat in itself. After a 3 hour stalk the deed was done. The area they were in is a 4 hour horse ride to the base camp and another 2 hour ride to the box canyon.
You have to like the area's shut down to motorized transport.

Great looking ram. I think I'm starting to catch sheep fever a little and it has nothing to do with being in East Idaho.
