Alaska Black Bear with Spitz and Fin

[Big Fin]

I'm too tired to type, so with a pic being worth a 1,000 words this is the "Oak method" of telling our Alaska black bear story from last week.

Mike is my friend.

Mike shoots big animals when cameras are rolling.

Mike shot a gigantic black bear in a torrential downpour.

We hauled it to the boat.

We went back to camp.

I went to filter some water.

A black bear was in my way.

He looked really big.

I filled my tag.

Randy is a man of many words . . .

Southeast Alaska has some gigantic black bears, of which we saw many.

Randy managed the boat while I went on a walkabout and turned up a bear I thought looked pretty large.

Decided we should ground check him.

He didn’t disappoint.
