We have sent our troops to die for our freedom and it is a sad thing. We are so parinoied that we continue to allow the low lifes that threaten us to win by making our citizens go through rediculous pat downs and scanners and what ever else someone can think of to make us safe. Even though we still have uneven keeled people getting through security anyway. By terrorists having us parinoied they are still winning with the pschological edge. I still believe they should show the tapes from 9/11 everyday, would it cause hate, maybe. Would it make us all remember why we have to have these security protocals in place YES!

Right or Wrong....these people whine about the inconvenient security checks because they have the freedom to do so, and that shouldn't change... even though it can be as annoying as hell listening to them.

You're right, there is no constitutional right to fly, but there is one for unreasonable search and seizure which is what is the issue here.

I believe, in the UK, they were going to quit the imaging process on children under 18 due to it being "child porn" if the images were viewed or captured.

I don't think they should be doing it to anyone without probable cause BUT the minute they announce they won't check people under a certain age, some toddler will have a diaper made from C-4. So to be effective, EVERYONE will have to be searched.

Yeah, along those lines...when a woman is dealing with her monthly curse, what happens when she's scanned and the TSA agent notices a string/cord down there. They are going to assume it's a fuse to a bomb or something. Those instances are going to be especially awkward on the pat-downs/cupping...

They did state that they can't see inside the body so someone could hide a Bomb in there Keester. If they suspect you, the gloves will be put on and you are signing like a bird !!!

There is no expectation of privacy - in fact... it is the polar opposite. There is no, "Right to fly" whereas there is a "Right to bear arms"...

The 4th Amendment states,

...against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated

Reasonable search and seizure is applied when faced with protecting not only American citizens... Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab - underwear bomber... though also protecting our national security... (our security). The adverse impact of airlines going down left and right would be detrimental to our country.

Reasonable search... is just that - especially when people understand they do not hold an expectation of privacy...

TSA staff look in my experience look like they work at Burger King. They have no clue what theyre doing and fondling three-year olds and old ladies never prevented a terrorist attack. I had a guy with a magnifying glass stare at my license for 60 seconds without ever even looking up at me to see if I was the same guy on the card. He was just getting off on his power trip--you should have seen him put his shiny glass back in its holster.

Lets call this for what it is--a freakin joke. I don't care who's feelings get hurt but most terrorists fit a similar MO. Males, 20-40, typically foreign (some exceptions obviously). We could fire the 60,000 TSA thugs and hire one Dick Tracy per airport, keep the old school metal detectors and enforce severe penalties for attempting these kinds of acts.

Leave my American wife and American daughters alone.
