A little help in CO

Im from TX, moved to CO several years ago. I went pronghorn hunting for the first time once in a unit that I was able to get a tag with no points the first year I was eligible. Except for being out hunting it was no fun. All the private had all the water etc. So I decided to build some points and try again. What I am having a hard time figuring out is how many points gets me in a unit that would be a decent hunt.

I am looking for a meat hunt. Dont care about horns or even if it is a doe. Just looking for a fun hunt that actually has a chance of harvesting.

Thanks

CO is pretty tough for antelope. Most are on the eastern side of the state which is pretty much all private. There are some decent opportunities, but it takes a little research. Cross reference the draw report with units that have some public access. Likely easier to get a rifle mule deer tag and try to shoot a forky or doe!

But antelope meat >>>>>> deer meat!

Besides something new to hunt that’s one of the main things I am looking for, trying the meat. Never had it. Thanks for the info.
