The last two trips out with the boat yielded success. Caught 11 (kept 5) the one day, and left them biting- one of them was even tagged! Hoping to hear back on that at some point.
Yesterday only yielded one, but it was a pretty good one- big enough that it got to go free as brood stock. They all came on a windblown bank with chunk rock, throwing a flicker shad #7.
Wound up trolling spoons for trout yesterday since the walleye weren't exactly plentiful. Definitely felt good to have something pull drag.
This will probably be it for the fishing for quite a while- hunting season is pretty much here, so that's it until the tags are filled!
