A few nice Boundary Waters walleyes

My daughter caught and released a nice 30” walleye today and I released two around 26”. All in all, it was a really good day. I released a skinny 28” a few days ago from one of the few motor lakes in the BWCA.

Holy smokes, 30 inch walleye is great. My PB is only 26.

Ummm… not sure if that description does justice for a trip with a 30 incher and three more of at least 26 inches. Or maybe you just catch a lot more big walleye than most!

Congratulations on not only some great fish , but quality time with your daughter too! I hope you get that photo of your daughter framed.

She caught a nice thick 30” last summer. I had an 8x10 canvas print made from that picture and it looks great. I’ll probably do the same with this one.
