Here's a Montana.....87" was all I could squeeze out of it.I found this buck in January a few years back. The other side was was a little better as the G2 was 3 or 4" longer. I never found it and spent plenty of time looking for it. He was narrow with 20" maybe on the inside....

All that I can squeeze out of it is about 82" with the average to short g2 and really weak g3. If he has a 22"+ inside spread I would still shoot him in Utah and get out of there before they try to convert me. Oak- sweet shed that back fork is deep! What do you think the inside spread was? If you need help finding a mate to a big shed just tell us where to meet you I'm sure some of us can show up to help you find it.

Ernesto ballparked my caribou to within 3 inches. If he cries wolf, I'm lookin for wolves.

I dont See how the g3 is 10" if the g2 is 16? Its not even half the length great find but bad scoring.

I know this is a really old thread. However, its an interesting subject considering a pair of 90" sheds only need 20" inside spread to be a 200" gross buck. Which is most mule deer hunters dream!

Here is another Colorado shed for comparison. It could almost be the mate to the one Oak showed us. It scores 89 2/8 + 3 5/8 extra = 92 7/8.

Measurements: MB 24 1/8; G1 2 0/8; G2 19 6/8; G3 13 0/8; G4 12 7/8; H1 4 5/8; H2 4 4/8; H3 4 0/8; H4 4 3/8; extra 3 5/8.
