6mm Remington Fan Club: Parker-Hale 1200 Super

I had the identical rifle with a 3x9 Redfield scope. It was a favorite of mine that I used for deer, jackrabbit, crow and varmint hunting.

I've had two of those parker-Hale 1200 Super's, loved them both, beautiful rifles! My first I got in Germaany while in the service, about 1966. 308 that strung the groups out as the barrel warmed up. I was told it was because the barrels at that time were not stress relieved. Then found another about 1995 at a gun shot, 25-06. Got it and had it re-barreled to a 6.5x55 for my wife. Her rifle at that time was a 700 BDL in 6mm Rem. Once she got the Parker-Hale she never shot her 6mm again.
