good job,,,filling the freezer w smoke poles isnt as easy as it looks.

Thank you all for the support and kind words. It truly was a blessing all around. We never thought in a million years we would fill all our tags. I have to draw a tag to hunt branch antlered bulls here in eastern Washington. Glad to see that people still enjoy reading about a good old fashioned family meat hunt. It gives me hope for our hunting culture that there is stand up guys like yourselves that enjoy traditions and are not all about the hype of simply bone hunting. It's why Randy's show is by far my favorite.
JLS and Greenhorn thanks for the advice for steering me towards the Mystery Ranch Longbow. This pack was as comfortable as you can get with a half of Boned out elk on my back. It was more than enough pack and performed awesome as a meat hauler and was a great all around pack. The internal pockets are the cats meow. This pack was perfect for elk hunting. Thanks for the great advice.
