Pre Bass Pro meaning when people there were knowledgeable, not sure if their quality has went down or not?

I have no idea if the people were more or less knowledgeable then vs. now, but the tents made back then were first quality in my opinion. I have no experience with these tents after BP took over but have wondered if they have maintained the quality.

Both the ones I have were purchased after the merger. It was shortly after the merger for the outback so they didn’t offer the awning. Only thing I wish I had for the geodesic is the aluminum poles instead of fiberglass. I believe aluminum used to come with them.
