2A advocates should pray for a full recovery

I don’t know, but would speculate long-standing trust issues coming out of medical experimentation and poor treatment patterns of black Americans account for some of the non-vac sentiment with that group, and the anti-vax push by some catholic leaders due to “use of fetal tissue” would hit Hispanic population harder. But who knows.
And of course the risk/benefit for the young is much different than the elderly. Point is there are people that disregard the science from all parts of the political spectrum when it is not supportive of there point of view.

Worst Antivax community in the country is Boulder CO.

Not sure what it’s like now, but in 2016-2019 they had all sorts of disease coming back with a vengeance… measles, pertussis, etc.

Apple, Google/Alphabet, Microsoft, Amazon, Tesla, Facebook/Meta, Nike, VISA, a bunch of i-banks and hedge funds, I could fill pages of top 250 corps that are at least to center and most left of center - but ya, old school oil and gas companies are probably throwbacks.
I don't know where you get your info, although I can probably guess.
But you are are seriously mistaken with at least some of your list.

I work with all but Nike on a routine basis (incl. their lobbying groups) and know lots of folks in management of the same. Where do you get yours?
Tesla is notoriously anti-union. Amazon hires professional union buster companies as does Google.

Left vs right is not solely a function of pro-union/anti-union. I never suggested that and would not call that list of companies pro-union in any sense of the word.

Weird how big tech poured all that money into the Biden campaign and now he is proposing this.
I know, kabuki theater.🙂

Read his words. He said it was not about free speech. But it was.

Of course some would say free speech does not apply to organizations, only humans. One could also say that limits on money doesn’t limit speech. Or, as SCOTUS has decided, the opposite on both accounts.

But arguing CU is not about free speech is like arguing Heller is not about gun ownership and Roe is not about abortion.

Plus - the left’s reversal as champion of free speech is broader than just election funding. Some law school professors are now teaching judges of the future that free speech is a hateful concept that preserves power in the hands of the oppressors and the government should begin regulating acceptable forms of speech to reign in an inherently racist system. This is not a joke - it is real.
That last paragraph is one of the scariest things I’ve read in a long time.

Like X and Y chromosomes!

The key word here is "some". Out of thousands, "some" could be two I suppose or even one. But I think you imply more than is likely, and quite honestly, I'd wager neither of us could even begin to guess since simply labeling any particular professor in this way is likely highly subjective.

I don't think the "left" is quite so deeply entrenched as you suggest. Of course, I don't hang in law schools much but the rest of academia is far over-roasted in this way.

As some would phrase it, “more than you think, less than others would presume”. ;)

So what about when biology doesn't fit your handy little narrative that everything is black and white? Estimated 1 to 2 out of every 1,000 births, while statistically small, is still a huge number of people, and this is only one example. I'm not going to accuse you personally of proclaiming these people and others like them as sub-human, but policies and rhetoric that refuse to acknowledge that "grey" exists certainly have that effect.

Not saying anyone is “sub-human,” whatever that means. What I am saying is that you can’t change your chromosomes.

I don’t see this as an example of science denying. The science of how genetic material shapes and forms the human condition - especially the mind is in its infancy.

Folks aren’t denying that a Y chromosome is in fact present or not. But even the best science cannot fully explain how a given version of a Y chromosome results in a range of masculine attributes (some guys beards are thicker than others) let alone explain the resulting neurobiology as it relates to gender and sexuality.

For the large majority it is fairly straightforward and little science is needed. But in a smaller subset there is much that is not understood.

And in the end we are all created in the image of our lord - we should have some humility before we declare fault in his creation.
