I'm not too far down the road on load development for my wife's .270, I've tried a couple things, but I was wondering what you guys recommend especially in terms of powders to try.

I really want to use H4831SC, but it has proven way too slow(velocity wise) for me.

R-26 will get the speed. I ran a test yesterday with 130 gr. E-Tips and got to 3144 fps with no pressure signs.

I'm using Hybrid 100V right now...140grain Partitions are going right around 3000. This rifle is going being switched over to non-lead and I think H4831SC is where I'm going to start.

RL-26 should be able to push a 150grain bullet over 3000fps easily though that stuff may be hard to find.

RL26 has been my go to for 25-06, 270 Win, and 7 SAUM. It's good stuff.

Is there any load data for RL-16? I am getting excellent speed out of it in my 280

I use H4831sc with 129 lrx and RL26 with 145 eldx. Both powders work good for my rifle.

Its not fully refined, but I did pretty good with 53.2 grains of H4350 and a 130grn Interlock. MV is around 2900. Anyway, we have several plugs for IMR4350 on this thread; how much different is that from H4350?

IMR 4831 or 4350 do well, my go to powder for my 270 is H4350 with a 130 gr. Barnes TTSX. I like the H4350 the best due to the consistent velocity and accuracy over a wide temperature range.
