24' MT Mountain Goat Harvest

One thing to keep in mind goats that tumble can and often do break off one or both horns. There's almost always a 5 or 6 year old billy with a 9 inch horn and a sub 6 inch horn in the Colorado MT goat stats like this one that I'm sure took a tumble.

Yep, I know this happened this year to at least one billy. Wasn't mine but in the district I was hunting somebody shot one that ended up falling over 1000 feet. Shouldn't have shot it. It was only a 2.5 yr old billy anyway but by the time it was done falling all it had on one side was a nubbin.

You can care about conservation of mountains goats and not care what people shoot. Very possible, try it out

Or virtu signal here for the likes
Not when people are killing nannies and young billies!? What a dumb response. Same guy that probably shoots 2 point mule deer because "they eat better" instead of just killing a couple whitetail does. Not doing it for the likes pal...just calling bulls**t when I see it.
