Drew pronghorn in a group with a 9.33 average. The unit we’re in drew out at 9. Felt good to get it right finally. Been trying to these burn points since 2018, but due to point creep, covid stuff, other tags, drawn, and life in general we haven’t been able to make it work. Happy to have another WY pronghorn tag!

Our draw was kinda the same way. It sure does feel good to review the odds and see the homework finally paid off.

Where do you find how many pref points it took to draw a unit this year? The hunt planner still shows 22 results

Are we lucky enough to see the fresh tracks crew in Wyo this year?
Marcus drew an elk tag with 1 point in the Regular. It was a new hunt this year, so don’t know how it might turn out.

When Matthew and I drew AZ elk, we withdrew our Wyoming elk apps.

Seeing the winter unfold and talking to biologists, our entire crew passed on deer and pronghorn for this year. It’ll be points for us later in the summer.

I feel lucky we were able to burn so many points in Wyoming last year. Nobody can predict the winters and it was just good luck we picked last year to unload a lot of points.

Drew a 16-1 elk tag and it feels good to burn the points regardless of what happens. This old boy doesn't have many hardcore elk hunts left in him. Looking forward to being there with a bow, and if need be, a rifle. Anyone else have a 16 tag this year?

Not sure on your hunt timing but sage grouse might be open in Sept for you too, and a bow might be pretty fun way to take one. A shotgun is a given almost, even without a dog.

Got a 57-1 lope tag for my son(12)off the leftover list. Hoping it will be a good intro to hunting for him.
