I know there’s only like five tiny mule deer bucks left in the entire state, but everyone seems to have cleared the room like Pepe le Pew walked in.

I didn't apply for LE deer or elk but that isn't really unusual for me. I will probably apply for sheep and goat. I have no out of state plans ever.

Drew Bear in OR. Not sure what I'll do with a Bear. Going for 2nd choice Elk this year and will use points next year.
Decided not to do OR Pronghorn this year. Nothing worth the points, Deer wise.
Drew 2nd early AZ Elk last year and missed in the random this year.
A lock for WY Elk and Deer. Going for Random Pronghorn, drew it last year.
UT Elk app is in and will draw my 2nd UT tag in 5 years or less the way things are going so just staying the course.
Applied in NM for the last time, not spending $100 and no points.

I'm gonna draw and hunt:

1. KY spring turkey April 12
2. NM antelope in Sept
3. WY elk with bow in Sept, if not successful, come back with a rifle in mid Oct
4. NM elk in early Oct
5. KY whitetail with rifle in mid Nov
6. NM mule deer in late Nov
7. NM oryx and barbary sheep in late Dec

So, probably just be hunting KY turkey and deer

Along with my colorado elk app I just put in for whitetail doe tags in wyoming with my boys.

That's a good fun hunt for a good value. Pondered that for the future with my boys as a backup plan.

Ended up changing plans. Put in to try to burn my dad's points in Colorado. Put in for a 1st rifle elk tag which he probably won't draw and what should be a good 2nd rifle deer tag that he should draw.
