It's safe to say, my leave balance will be exhausted by the end of November. Heres my hunt schedule in order by calender date. Hopefully, I'll have some good stories, adventures, pictures, and meat in the freezer by the end of it.

August- Wyoming LE Pronghorn
September- Wyoming GEN elk
September- Wyoming GEN mule deer
October- Idaho DV GEN mule deer
November- Wyoming LE whitetail buck
November- Nebraska LE MDCA mule deer
November- Colorado LE 4th Bull elk
November- Colorado LE 4th mule deer

4 states in 4 months. Let's go!

Being a federal employee and having 3 day weekends sure helps
Oh yeah, and maxi-flex work schedules as well. Not to mention copious holidays in the fall and 500+ hours of leave.

I also don't take much time off until fall, all my additional hours are comp and credit hours. Time off is worth wayyyyy more to me than premium pay.

Good luck this fall, you have a packed schedule.

Heck yeah, I always take the comp time. I have 61 hours of comp and 182 of annual. Mix that in with long weekends and I should be good to go. I can only carryover 240 hours. That 500 would be amazing. Good luck on your fall as well, sir.

That looks pretty good. Get after it and get it done!

I agree. Comp time is where it's at. I'm in the same boat. The time is way more valuable to me than making more money.

Welcome back buddy.

I love hitting multiple states each year. Gets tough to squeeze it all in.

September- Idaho controlled elk
October - Utah bull muzzle
November - Colorado 4th rifle and Kansas deer
Welcome to my home state of ks..

I must work for the wrong government. I became a government employee 2 years ago and haven’t gone on a hunt since because of a lack of time off.
