Any predictions on if it will be Thursday or Friday or if we will have to wait until next week? Is there a day of the week that has historically been the results release day?

Last year was June 29th which was a Thursday for what it’s worth.

I wish IDFG would hurry up so I would know if I need to be fine-tuning a load in my 30 Nosler with 230 gr Berger Hybrid Targets or if I should be just practicing more with my bow.

In 2020 it was a Friday. I remember taking my daughter fishing and drawing a great tag when we got off the lake. That was a good day.

This morning, a friend texted me a screenshot of a “successful” notification for a long shot tag he and I had applied for separately. I had to check my account and some forums to figure out that it was a pretty believable fake. Once I did, I texted him back that I had canceled the flight reservation I had for an earlier archery hunt and booked a new flight so I could join him on his hunt. I think I scared him.

I've got my eye on a leftover elk tag but my wife would probably kill me if I tried to convince her that going on two out of state elk hunts would be a good idea this year
