2024 dove thread

Nobody else started it so I figured I would. Who's in tomorrow morning? Just finished loading the truck for the dog, myself and the 3 boys. Looks like we're going on a 10 day backcountry trip looking at the truck! Step son is the only kid shooting but the other two are locked and loaded with toy guns. Should be a hell of a morning by what I saw this evening.

I was going to take the boy out with his 410. then he had to go and break his elbow so now I kinda lost interest. I think I can squeeze some hunting in Tuesday and Thursday morning probably will go at least once to say I did.

I made my annual trip down to Indiana from Michigan (no dove hunting in MI). Had a wonderful crappie fish fry this evening, now relaxing in the tent. We'll hit a mix of private & public grounds over the next 3 days.

We will give it a go tomorrow but basically just have to walk out the door with loaded guns. Lots of doves and huns around. Sharpies seen to be down this year.

Taking my boys tomorrow afternoon. Should be a good time! They are pretty young but we are going to try hitting a few with the ol .410 bolt action.

Old gravel pit and we mow a lot of the weeds down. It's either hit or miss. Last couple years have been hit.
