Decided last week is going to be the last time I hold my phone up to my spotter/binos for pictures.

Looked at old threads, any old/new opinions or recommendations on favorite digiscoping phone adapters?

Leaning towards ScopeCam Adapter.

I’ve got the Ollin system and like it a lot. Although, I almost didn’t purchase it when I pulled up their website and there’s that asshat Eric Cheeser (Hush) all over.

In the end promo code Randy got me through, but it was touch and go.
Yeah saw cheeser on there too putting a bad taste in my mouth..

Like the idea of one that swaps between my spotter and Binos without breaking the bank for a non-essential

The only annoying thing about the Ollin phone case, if you have an iPhone the case blocks the flashlight. Not exactly world stopping fatal flaw, but annoying.

Have had phone scope and others that worked. This season I bought an Ollin. The day before our hunt, I got my first Ollin that did not fit right.

I've been through a few of them. Ultimately I decided I wanted one I could leave attached when I pick up the tripod/scope to move. The only one I know of that allows this is the Outdoorsman's setup. I feel very secure leaving my phone attached to the spotter and putting the tripod legs over my shoulder to carry. The magnetic ones wouldn't be secure enough to do this - at least not in my mind - although they do seem pretty slick. I've been very happy with my Outdoorsman kit. Been using it for years now.

I think the ollin is the best. I’ve had most of them. The only thing I don’t like about the ollin is the fact I can’t use my other lenses to take pictures. That is pretty agitating but I’ll survive. It does take the best pics.

It's all a matter of compromise. They all suck at something. I have a Mountain Mag on the way and it seems the closest to perfect I've see. Most all of them need to get the phone closer to the spotter lens but it's tough to do and still keep the ability to not have to custom make every phone and spotter combo.

I've been using the On Glass adapter for about a month. I haven't used it for looking at critters yet, just for times at the range to record longer shots. It's a cheaper alternative to Ollin or Mag View. I don't like having the magnetic attachment on my phone case all the time, mostly because my phone no longer lays flat so it rocks slightly when I type. A phone case dedicated to just digiscoping would be a fix. On the plus side, the quick magnetic attach / detach design is handy.

curious what spotter you have. I had the same thing happen to me this year. I have the older swaro HD i think they say 2022 or older which mine is. I ordered that one and it kept pushing itself off the eye piece. Come to find out i had sent my spotter off for minot work on the eye piece and they upgraded my rubber to the new one. I had contacted ollin and they sent me the correct one and i shipped the other back. It works great now.

Only thing i do not like is it picks only one camera to look through not ollins fault but i can only zoom so far on my phone before it switches cameras and that is blocked. wish i could use my full zoom on my phone as well so i may play around with it this winter. I know they will sell the "plate" with 3M tape and you can put it where ever.

I have magview for my binos but hate that I have to try to re-aim it everytime. Would like something that just lines up automatically but don't want a special case especially if it blocks the flashlight.

I have the Ollin and am a big fan; however, I don't love their phone case and it's kind of a pain to take off due to how snug it fits (which I suppose is a good thing). Saw the Epoch Outdoors Mountain Mag on Insta and it looks pretty interesting - I like the idea of having my own choice of case with the adapter but it seems like it might align better than the Magview.
