Contracts that bind players to playing in bowl games aren't going to be signed by the players who have any shot at going to the NFL.
Maybe it'll be more of a per-game paycheck payment structure, but I don't see (smart) players signing deals to that force them to play in the Meinike Car Care Bowl or the Boca Raton Bowl and risk injury when if they have the opportunity to pursue a career in the NFL in a few short months.

I think you’re probably right- but that’s always the case with subjective rankings to some degree.

It is that issue that a playoff was meant to solve. I feel that it has done so fairly successfully this year.

I’ve already turned the page to next season since the Bucknuts bitch slapped my ducks into next year, the Ducks have been killing it in the portal.. picked up the #1RB in the country… and some key defensive players , Oregons #2 receiver announced he’s returning , and Oregon best LB who was drafted to the MLB is staying for another year ….

11-1 is what I expect from this schedule , @ Penn St is the only game I see the Ducks possibly losing right now , the @Iowa is the other one that has my attention but Iowa’s offense is still stuck in 1955… ha ha the B1G 10 gave my Ducks a good chance to return to the B1G10 championship game again.
