2024 College Football 🏈 Season starts tomorrow…. Yee Yee

You're wrong if you think the schools aren't NIL intermediaries.

How Schools and Their Athletes Are Entering the Mix

Recognizing that NIL deals are now a significant factor in recruitment and that NIL is here to stay, schools are getting involved in the process. This is primarily accomplished in two ways: through school-specific NIL policies, and NIL departments aimed at facilitating and educating players.

Where in that article does it say they are brokers? They're involved to protect themselves.

I suppose this sentence could be it: "The goal of this team is to serve as “an internal advisory group whose members can assist student-athletes with access and resources to successfully pursue NIL opportunities."

Contracts that bind players to playing in bowl games aren't going to be signed by the players who have any shot at going to the NFL.
Maybe it'll be more of a per-game paycheck payment structure, but I don't see (smart) players signing deals to that force them to play in the Meinike Car Care Bowl or the Boca Raton Bowl and risk injury when if they have the opportunity to pursue a career in the NFL in a few short months.

Just after homer said the SEC was the best conference

I didn't see anyone say that. Can you point one out?

But, the 4th place Big10 team is going to win the NC. I think that says the CFP seedings and some perceptions might be off a bit.

Just a reminder, that Texas wasn't the SEC Champ either. GA lost their QB. What were all the other team's excuses? :D

Congrats to the Buckeyes. Boatrace predicted for the next game.
