2024 College Football šŸˆ Season starts tomorrowā€¦. Yee Yee

Anyone think the Bucknuts can rebound against the VOLS ????

I have a hard time seeing them win after how they played against Michigan?

Ohio State is a 7.5 favorite
I donā€™t think the environment will be too much of a factor but the weather could beā€¦. TN can be dangerous but they havenā€™t quite been able to hit their top end consistently

The weather won't be. It was 30 in Vandy. They don't really get much snow in Columbus, 28 in per year. It's only 5 hours from Knoxville. Average temps are only a few degrees different than Knoxville.

Nico and receivers have been better the past few weeks. Nico was 18/26 with 4 TD and 1 int against Vandy. Unless something changes, Ohio State won't be able to stop our run game.

I agree, Sampson is a bad dude. As long as the run game is strong theyā€™ll be fine, Iā€™d still be concerned if they have to completely lean on Nico.

Nope, they are losing to the Vols.
Yeah, I think after that Michigan game ,Ohio State is in a fragile state mentally, and with a big physical SEC team coming into town I think theyā€™re gonna wanna do the same thing Michigan did is just go punch them right in the mouth at kick off

Montana State Bobcats advanced in FCS playoffs with a win Saturday and hitting 13 - 0 mark for season. (Hope this doesn't jinx them to boast-post.)
MSU Football has a great relationship with MSU Rodeo, as the Rodeo Team creates fan pep hoopla by riding into the stadium with flags spelling out BOBCATS, leading the football team out into the stadium. At the start of the MSU Spring Rodeo in April which is held in the fieldhouse with tons & tons of "rodeo dirt" spread over plywood, the football team ran into the arena with Touchdown Tommy leading and lead the rodeo team into the arena. Very cool!

There is something wonderful about college football home games!

Just got to say that watching and supporting my hometown team, U of Oregon, all my 72 yrs itā€™s been a ride. Years we were a small fish in a large pond. Our coaches would make a name for themselves and then move on. Weā€™d have to start all over. If we went .500 for a season we were ok, not good, but the heart was still beating. To look at the quality of humans playing for Oregon, the Coach Lanning, the recruiting, all that joy around a successful program itā€™s very special. I donā€™t take it for granted for one minute. Theyā€™ve gone toe to toe with great timesā€¦Penn State, Ohio State, etc. They never gave up on each other or the system that got them there.
So, I appreciate the others teams, theyā€™re hard work and determination that has allowed Oregon to be tested. You learn much about yourself through this process. You hopefully grow and see where you need some more refining. Itā€™s a great game this college football. Enjoy the love of competition, recognize effort and heart and preparation. Go Ducks šŸ¦†ā€¦had to say it.

Watched a few games over the weekend, and by far the best story was Tez Johnson at Christmas dinner, saying, do you think Oregon is interested? Naw, bro, no way, and then the phone rings, it's Oregon, and Bo hands him a bag of Oregon gear.

And Mike Gundy almost out at Oklahoma State, making concessions for the second time in the last few years.

Saban is pretty sad over on X, but you can't lose to Vandy and then score 3 points on 5 win OU and then cry foul. šŸ¤£

Venables is too expensive to fire or suspect he would be gone. Bowl game with Navy? Stoops is probably pretending covid is back and masking in public. Interestingly, Lincoln Riley probably in the same boat, so that swap worked for no one.

My Longhorns swallowing the pulley bone in the red zone. I haz a sad from their weak schedule cockyness & big game fail.

Longhorns get to whoop my Tigers as consolation prize...and may have knocked Beck and UGA out of the playoffs in the process, so chances of Longhorns winning it all maybe have increased.
UGA backup is no slouch. My kid was telling me he owns all kind of high school records. He came in and ran them down the field to beat Texas. I liked his style with the hard run for 1st down that set up the winning TD.

Hope you're correct but I just don't see it happening...

I am just not sold on Ewers. If the Manning kid can't beat him out, he will be a disappointing Manning.
The two week break is good for UT's chipped starters and I'd like to see a healthier Ewers raise his NFL stock. I don't think Arch sits for another year.
