2022 Spring Bears

Spent all weekend shoveling through drifts, tow straps, and cutting trees. Winter in the West does not want to give in! Good thing is, the hunting will only get better!

Saw a nice jet black bear from a long ways away in this basin yesterday. Went to check it out today, walked around a corner and ran into these three little twerpy cubs at about 25 yards. Mom bailed off the road and huffed and rushed the babies out of there. Things are greenin up and gettin beary. 🤟

I’m hoping for a 20” bear so I chose not to sit for him tonight at my favourite bait. I have shot 19” bears the last few years in a row now so it’s time for a new challenge. I think he will be back tonight as he just starts hitting and he was in for a hour this morning. And I have always had good luck in that situation

Baits were slow then in the last 24 hours my favourite bait had three new bears show up. Hopefully it continues on.

I think I say it every year.....

If I was a single man, Saskatchewan would be my home. I can't even imagine pulling the pass card out on him. Buying moose tags at gas stations, chasing 200 inch mule deer and giant bulls. Not to mention better beer and poutine.....

Wtf is this poutine you keep talking about (serious question)? We spell it poontang here.

Gravy takes a lot of meanings, Italian beef gravy, biscuits and gravy, mashed potatoes and gravy, Italians call the spaghetti sauce gravy? Hell idk. I trust you though you guys are responsible for Canadian mist and Molson, I'm a big fan

We can buy everything online too as long as you have blank seals.

I've bought a few tags online the first morning of a hunt before any store was open!!!
