6 miles this morning, seen some animals but was slow. Did see my first griz of season, so thats great(sarcasm). Also stumbled upon this awesome license plate! Going to give horns a week before try again.

First 15 minutes of the day, nothing for the next four hours.

Karma shed, picked up two masks and a coffee cup before I left the approach I parked on. Ran into two shed hunters and after we parted I found the biggest wt shed I have ever found in my mule deer spot....sun shines on a dogs arse every once in a while!

Davy and I had another good trip. Found a couple more sheds and sheaths. Someone had broken off the dead head I found last week but I at least got to dig up the other half. Either way another fun morning in the outdoors!

Had a neighbor ask me this winter if i wanted to shed hunt his land this year, under the condition that whatever i find i just stop in and show him. Finally had a chance to check it out today, rain cut the trip short but picked up a few in there. Found one side from an old 8pt, think he's 8.5 this year.

It took us 8 miles this time but we found one more good one. Pretty sure this spot is getting close to cleaned out.

Art Vandeley, i prob exaggerated. More like 137. My brothers are the ones to watch out for. Last week one of them clocked 31 miles hiking in one day. Hes a freak.

Most elk are still packing here! Last year i watched elk carry horns till mid april but deer are dropping but i just not finding them.

I use to do that kind of mileage shed hunting. Wish I still could.
