In years past, the refund was in my account friday morning after the draw. They're pretty quick.

Dang! Mine has always taken 2-6 weeks! I wonder what it depends on.

I'll be out there Nov 13 thru 17. Only my second time (other than driving thru) in unit but e-scouting is going good. Hoping to get out twice this summer to camp it.

I keep checking my results hoping they turn from red to green but no luck so far! Congrats to all those who drew. Super jealous.

When I look at my purchases on the NMGF website, it shows pending refunds with a date of 4/22/21 although they haven't shown up in my account yet.

From the email about draw results, "Unsuccessful applicants should receive refunds on credit cards beginning Thursday, April 22, 2021 and all others will receive a check refund in the next two to three weeks."

Buddy and I drew first rifle elk in 16C. First time we have applied for elk tags anywhere other than Alaska so considering ourselves very lucky.

Rifle. It is the immature/female hunt. Since my wife drew, she'll get top priority for the shot, I might consider smokepole.

Look for white dots way up high, then look for brown dots running around them. You can shoot a nanny or a billy with horns<15"

Well we opted for the Outfitter pool to up our odds. Two days semi guided then 3 days DIY.

My dad and I drew on on range Oryx tag. Glad was able to draw for him since he is getting older. Was never expecting to draw but glad I put us in!

I pulled a cow hunt in 12 Dec 4-8 and mulie in 24 Nov 13-17

Feeling very grateful and looking forward to a summer of scouting! Happy to take any suggestions on good places to start! Good luck

That's what I hear. It's a cow hunt and I'm scouring the maps looking for possible terrain, food and water sources. Lots of ground to cover. If you have any tips on whether to focus on a particular quadrant or not, I'd appreciate any tips you might have. I've pretty much ruled out the malpais...lol.

Late to the chat here. I didn’t draw elk but I drew my 3rd choice first archery deer. I’m a bit excited as I normally drive through the unit as I head out to AZ for OTC mule deer hunt.
