2019 whitetail is a wrap

dang that's cold. I'm not sure I could handle that.
Temps like that aren’t too bad. Last year I tried to sit in some -30 stuff. Was in a pop up with a heater and I only lasted half a day. You need either a pop up with tiny holes just big enough to stick a rifle out of it a wooden permanent blind.

You have had a great season. Congrats on a fine buck!
Yes it’s been one I will never top. I still have a prime draw mulie tag I haven’t hunted yet. Going for the last few days of season between November 9-14. Hope to let the 300 mag bark on a 190+

Good Luck to you why dont you kick a couple down south ;)

Good job! I shot a bruiser on the 24th (around Saskatoon), neck was already massive and definitely pre-rut action going on. It seems like a lot of good bucks are falling to the smoke pole this year in Sask.

Congrats share the pics

Dang, what a beauty. Great way to tag out early. Hunting -15 I just keep telling myself it doesn't get any better cause the deer have to feed in the daylight, so I'd best be hunting!

I will once my season is over, still have tags in my pocket! I'll post a full write up with pictures but so far I'm two antelope bucks, archery mule deer and now whitetail! Heading to Manitoba next weekend for ML whitetail and hopefully wrap up my year with antlerless elk I drew in 33...

It may sound silly but I've been bringing a "quiet" sleeping bag in the blind when its below -10. I take off my boots and slide the sleeping bag up to my chest (arms out) and I've been able to extend my sits.
